EAT PACKS Equipment Stack: Everywhere, Anywhere, TRAIN.

EAT PACKS are for everywhere! Whether you're doing them in sessions or camps at The Savage Lands... or running them at home on your own, the right setup is the key to EATING! 

You don't need all of this on day one โ€” build the stack over time. But with these pieces in place, you can run any EAT PACK.  Everywhere. Anywhere. TRAIN.


 

KEY TWO: GET THESE 3 TO START

1. Pair of Dumbbells

Dumbbell_home equipment - eatpacks - pasadena tx drxveStart with a weight you can bicep curl. If you can curl it, you can do most of the dumbbell work in the packs โ€” pressing, rows, lunges, carries. As you progress, add a heavier pair for goblet squats and lower body work. One pair to start, two pairs eventually.

2. Glute Bands

Start with fabric bands first โ€” they go around your upper legs for glute and hip work, more comfortable and more resistance. Add plastic bands later for lateral work around your ankles and calves. Kickbacks, walkouts, hip work โ€” these are the staple.

3. Big Loop Bands

Resistance Loop Band_home equipment - eatpacks - pasadena tx drxveThese are for pull-aparts, face pulls, band rows โ€” shoulder activation and upper back work you can do anywhere. If you have a chin-up bar at home, loop these on for assistance work too. Different from glute bands โ€” longer, higher resistance, upper body focus.

A Kettlebell (OR 2)

Kettlebell_home equipment - eatpacks - pasadena tx drxveIf you're serious about running the packs at home, get a kettlebell. Swings, goblet squats, lunges, carries โ€” one kettlebell handles all of it. Get one that challenges you on swings, add a second when you're ready.

A Jump Rope or SIMILAR

Jump Rope_home equipment - eatpacks - pasadena tx drxveSome type of rope. If you know how to jump rope, get a speed rope and go.

If you're still building tolerance, get the ropeless GoFit handles โ€” you spin the handles and jog in place, same cardio stimulus without needing to clear the rope.

Either way works. No rope at all? Substitute calf raises and keep moving.

A Step

A dedicated aerobic step platform is ideal โ€” 12 inches handles step-ups, reverse lunges, incline and decline work. If you don't have one yet, the bottom step of your staircase works. Two steps is fine. Just make sure it doesn't move.

A Foam Balance Pad

An Exercise Mat

A PVC Stick or Stretching Rod

Easiest option โ€” walk into Lowe's or Home Depot and grab a 4-5 foot PVC pipe. A few dollars, no cutting needed, works exactly the same as anything sold online.
