"YOU CAME SAVAGE"
One of my clients saw another client, Angela, hit a pretty big PR. (Personal Record) She hit 300 lbs on her Deadlift.
Angela had been training for 2+ years and this was the next progression after last week's STRENGTH Session. But he didn't know that. He had only been training for the past 3 months. So he hadn't seen her gradual process over time. He hadn't seen how she EARNED that personal record over months of sweat & practice.

Common questions about The Savage Lands, how sessions work, and what to expect.
How many people train at once?
This is focused small group training. 1-8 people per session.
Average is 3-4 people. Sometimes you & Coach. Sometimes there's 6-8 people all working. Either way, you get individual coaching and direct feedback throughout the session.
Everyone works at their own level. Coach walks around, tells you your targets, checks on you during the work, coaches your form, pushes you when you need it.
"You hit 75 for 8 last week. Let's get 85 for 8 today." OR...
"You did 100lbs last week but only got 6 solid reps. Stay at 100lbs this week and work on bracing better. Once you get past 8 good reps, we can go up."
Small focused group. Clocked In. Individual coaching.
Do I need to book sessions in advance?
No booking needed for most sessions. You can text Coach & Just show up. You'll Clock In when you're here.
We do have a Booking & Check In System. So if booking in advance helps plan your week & keep you accountable? By all means… do it.
But in general, If the time is on the schedule, Coach will be there. So should you.
Exception: COMP Class (Saturday 11:30AM) requires 24-hour advance booking. That's it.
Want to switch times? Text Coach: 832-979-9738. Let him know you're jumping in a different session. No penalty.
Just jump in.
Will I have the same coach or random coaches?
You have YOUR coach. Coach Alverez.
Not random trainers for random classes. One coach. He knows your lifts, your progression, your limitations, your issues, your goals.
That's how CPPP (Certified Promise of Programmed Progression) works. You'll track your lifts together week by week in the COACH App and get personalized coaching on how to make progress from there.
Can't do that with rotating trainers. You need YOUR coach.
What if I need to switch session times or days?
Your training schedule is flexible within the same week. No penalty.
Usually train Monday 6AM but need to do Monday 7PM this week? Text Coach. Done.
Can't do Monday STRENGTH? Do Tuesday STRENGTH instead. CPPP requires weekly consistency, not daily rigidity.
How to communicate: Text 832-979-9738. Just let Coach know.
What if I miss a session?
Use ABILITY sessions to make up missed sessions. Same week only.
Miss Monday STRENGTH? Make it up Tuesday 9AM ABILITY. Coach gives you a modified program to hit similar muscle groups and get your strength work done.
Not identical to the pace of your missed STRENGTH Session, but maintains your progression.
Rule: Same week only. Can't bank makeups for future weeks. That defeats CPPP consistency.
I have an injury / medical condition. Can I still train?
Yes. We adapt programming to work WITH your limitations.
If it's a serious medical condition, please see your doctor and request clearance.
If it's not so serious and more of an ache, pain or bum knee.... We can make adjustments because "Strength + Ability Helps"
You don't need to be "healthy enough" to start. That defeats the purpose. That's what Coach & ABILITY Programming is here for. He will help you find the ["inches of progress"](/life) you need to make to get stronger & move better than ever.
How does Coach track my progression with multiple people training?
Coach will show you how to track every lift, every rep, every set you do in the COACH App.
Coach walks around during sessions with his phone, checks your last week's lifts, tells you your targets:
"You hit 135 for 8 last week. Your Goal is 12."
"Let's work at 135 again and get stronger next week."
"Do that…and you'll be hitting 155 Lbs like nothing by the end of the month. Easy work."
You're not figuring it out alone. Coach is directing your progression in real time.
Everyone's working at their own level. Coach is managing all of it.
That's why it's a small group (1-8 people). He can coach & check on everyone effectively.

Can I train with a friend or family member?
Yes. Coordinate your schedules and train the same sessions.
No "partner sessions" (all sessions are small group), but you can both show up to the same Session times.
If you want to bring a NEW Friend, remember.. GUESTS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME for their 1ST SESSION. Just Text Coach or bring them and Jump In. Either way is good.
