New ways to challenge the way we think.
When we think about our life goals, a lot of times we tend to focus first on the bad things or habits we should remove from our lives.
This CAN get you started. But over a long period of time, this SUBTRACTIVE mindset can leave you feeling depleted and missing “things you love”.
The alternative is an ADDITIVE Mindset. 💪
ASK YOURSELF... 🤔
How can I ADD UP all my Positive Choices & Habits, so I WON’T HAVE ROOM or TIME for things that take me away from goals?
+ WHEN I PRIORITIZE & CHOOSE THESE:
- Consistent healthy, whole meals
- More protein & vegetables
- Daily movement & actviity
- More sleep & rest
- Intentional recovery & mobility
- New shoes & clothes that fit my goals
- I WON’T HAVE ROOM FOR THESE:
- Junk carbs, sugary drinks & snacks
- Excess alcohol & late night binges
- Fried fast food & soda
- Overly processed foods
- Excess screen time & distractions before sleep
- Old clothes that seem comfortable but unconnected
+ WHEN I MAKE SURE I DO THIS:
- Speak strong things about MYSELF to MYSELF
- Stand up more throughout the day
- Make choices that move me closer to my goals
- Set goals & Execute my plans
- Reach for peace, meditate & rest
- Keep learning, reading & growing
- Give myself credit for the positive changes I KNOW I'm making
- Stay consistent & stay committed
- I WON’T HAVE ANY TIME FOR THIS:
- Negative self talk & doubt
- Sitting & staying inactive
- Procrastination & laziness
- Giving into distractions
- Rehearsing my normal excuses & reasons
Focus more on the positive changes
When you focus more on the positive changes, choices and habits you want to ADD to your life, you reduce the amount of space you have to make negative choices.
